“A condensed, comparative record for five years, for recording events most worthy of remembrance.”
A few weeks ago, I came across this journal and found it to be such a cool idea. In a generation where people like things to be quick and simple, this journal is perfect.
Basically, everyday, you write a line about your thoughts regarding the present day’s events. The month and date is on the top of the page and you fill in the year for each day’s entry. Once you go through the journal for one year, you begin the next year’s round of entries on the second entry space. Meanwhile, you get to see what you went through on that specific date a year(s) before. How cool is that! I’m big on memories – I like to journal, take photographs, and keep memorabilia – so this is perfect for someone like me.
What I like about this is you don’t have to write much and it motivates you to write a little something everyday. As much as I’d like to journal everyday, I find I write in my journal only 1-2 times every 2 months or so. Also, I don’t know about others, but I usually find myself journaling when I am upset or frustrated to vent out my feelings. Since this memory book requires you to write a line a day, I’ll remember to write for every type of day – the positive days, negative days, eventful days, uneventful days, etc.
I look forward to reading back as I write in the entry spaces for each year.
